CWA: Doctor Abomination

HUGE thanks to for helping me design this "endgame boss" of sorts. I'm sorry it took so long to get him done; I have a very busy semester this fall, all because of one class! Anyway, here he is! I hope you enjoy the second part to the final confrontation!

Name: Doctor Abomination

Height: 65 Meters
Weight: 60,000 Tons

Powers:
-Surgeon’s Beam: Doctor Abomination can fire a devastating beam of energy from his mouth. This attack is strong enough to send monsters flying like rag dolls when hit.
-Anesthetic Beam: Doctor Abomination’s middle limbs can form a ball of pink colored energy that, after a few seconds, will unleash a beam of energy. This attack does no actual damage, but leaves the foe in a very drowsy state for a few minutes, unable to fight for the most part during this time.
-Organic Missiles: Adorning Doctor Abomination’s back are many tall, tube-like structures. These can launch organic missiles high up into the air, which then fall down to the ground to rain destruction upon foes.
-Doctor Abomination’s left arm has a bizarre anatomy; the arm is capable of acting like a pseudo-pincer, putting tremendous pressure upon a foe via specialized muscle tissues within the limb. This limb is strong enough to throw foes around with ease.
-Doctor Abomination’s tail ends in a fearsome maw; this is more than willing to take a huge bite out of whatever comes into contact with it.
-With his new, mutated body, Doctor Abomination is an absolute powerhouse; his stamina and strength is off the charts. He is more than capable of taking on multiple monsters at once and bulldozing through them with ease.

Weakness: With this new strength comes a terrible price; Doctor Abomination has lost some of his intelligence. While able to form coherent sentences, it is easy to tell that his brain power has dropped considerably. His arrogance has not changed either. Perhaps this can be used against him...


Biography:
Argelian, the three monsters, and the two pilots stared in horror as Doctor Seijin’s body began to heavily mutate, regrowing the lost limbs and twisting them to the body’s own purpose. The heroes gazed up at the newly formed behemoth before them. No longer was the man of science an alien... He was now a true monster.

The beast proclaimed to the world, Doctor Seijin was gone! Now, there was only... Doctor Abomination! Staring on, still stunned by the twist to the battle, Argelian clenched his fists tight and flung himself forward. Big mistake... The evil mutation smashed his twisted arm into the cyborg, sending him crashing to the ground with a painful roll. The three monsters looked at the down warrior, then turned to face their former master. With loud bellows, the three charged into battle.

Doctor Abomination roared madly and unleashed a barrage of organic missiles from his back, bombarding his past slaves. Dust covered them as screams echoed the area; suddenly, bursting through the smoke was Chinook, flying forward and landing a kick directly to the monster’s face. The helicopter beast began lashing out wildly with his feet, delivering multiple kicks in an effort to push back the mutation. Doctor Abomination chuckled and swung his body around, smashing his tail into the flying monster. Chinook crashed to the ground as Frankenworm’s Ghoul and Serratias advanced forward.

Ghoul leapt upon the monster and began lashing out wildly. Doctor Abomination brought up his massive, twisted arm to pulverize his foe, but Serratias lashed out, grabbing hold of him. The zombie raked his claws into the monster’s flesh, surging electricity through his former master. Snarling in rage, Doctor Abomination grabbed a hold of the undead host and charged Serratias. The ghoul let out a grisly cry as his body was sandwiched between the mutant and his ally. The arthropod dinosaur did not take well to the attack either, and collapsed down, Frankenworm’s Ghoul following suit.

Doctor Abomination began to laugh, but was suddenly cut off by a cry of pain. The small, dangling arm projecting from his shoulder fell to the ground, green blood trickling down his flesh. The culprit, Argelian, stood behind him, claws soaked in blood. Both turned to face each other, with the terrible mutant growling in fury. His maw opened wide, and a massive beam of energy rocketed towards the cyborg. The hero just barely managed to avoid the attack by taking to the air, but was suddenly hit by a pink beam of energy. The alien could feel himself become sleepy, and his entire body went numb as he fell out of the sky. Doctor Abomination chuckled, and began to stomp towards his nemesis.

Beams of energy shot through the sky as Serratias came to the rescue. Raking into his flesh, the mutant’s advance was halted as he turned to face the hybrid. Suddenly, Doctor Abomination could feel tendrils wrap around his arms, preventing him from moving forward. He cocked his head to see Chinook hovering above, using his legs to hold him back as Serratias charged. The arthropod dinosaur smashed into the monstrosity with tremendous force and began slicing into his flesh with her claws and facial limbs. Meanwhile, Frankenworm’s Ghoul had gone to Argelian’s side; noticing the numbing effects, the worm began to send out weak currents into the cyborg. The numbing effects were cancelled out, and the hero rose to his feet, greeting the intelligent worm, whom had just popped his head out from the zombie’s flesh.

The two watched, however, as Doctor Abomination broke away from Chinook’s grip, literally tearing off the tentacles holding his massive arm. Serratias and Chinook were quickly smashed to the ground and kicked aside. The monstrosity turned and set his eyes on the two humanoids, a wicked grin coming across his face. Proclaiming they were next, he charged forward. Looking at each other, then nodding, Argelian and Frankenworm’s Ghoul charged into battle. The zombie leapt to the side, then pounced onto Doctor Abomination’s flank, tearing his large claws into the mutant’s flesh. Argelian rolled away as the monster began to swing his body around, attempting to deal with the zombie.

Argelian began to unleash energy blasts upon his nemesis, peppering the beast’s back. Serratias, who had just recovered, noticed what the cyborg was doing and joined in the assault. Beams and energy blasts seared the mad monster’s back, slowly but surely damaging the massive tubes adorning him. Doctor Abomination realized what was going on and shifted his body, using his incredible strength to throw Frankenworm’s Ghoul onto the arthropod hybrid. Argelian halted his assault as the beast examined the extent of the damage. A number of his tubes were damaged, and his missiles would not be as effective anymore. Glaring in rage, Doctor Abomination charged forward.

Argelian held his ground, extending his blade for melee combat. The cyborg lashed out, but his arm was snatched by the monster’s tail. Sharp teeth dug into metallic coating, as Argelian struggled to escape. With a wicked grin, Doctor Abomination began to pound his monstrous arm against the hero’s chest, putting massive dents in it. Suddenly, the monster began to scream in pain, glaring up at his right arm to see Chinook’s left hand slicing into his flesh like a buzzsaw. Snorting in anger, he brought his massive arm back, ready to slam it into the helicopter beast’s face... Only to feel Serratias’ tails ensnare it. Another sharp pain raced through him as Frankenworm’s Ghoul dug his claws into the beast’s tail, causing it to release Argelian.

Pressing the advantage, Argelian lunged out with his blade, joining Chinook in an attempt to remove the arm. Pushing their strength as far as it could go, the two ends met and recoiled back, escaping each other as the limb was sliced right off of the terrible fiend. Blood splattered across the ground as the other monsters retreated back, while Doctor Abomination stumbled forward in pain. Argelian touched down onto the ground and called out his nemesis. The demon was losing, and he would soon be brought to justice once and for all. Doctor Abomination began to laugh wildly, in response. He said that even without an arm, he was still far from finished.

Opening his mouth wide, the terrible beast swept his chaotic beam across the battlefield in fury, blasting all four of the monsters. Explosions rocked the area as whatever tubes that were functional began to launch organic missiles, peppering the dust cloud in an attempt to inflict further damage. As the smoke cleared, Doctor Abomination stared in surprise as the four fighters, battered heavily from the attack, slowly rose to their feet. Clenching his remaining fist and grinding his teeth in sheer rage, the behemoth charged forward, lashing out in animalistic fury.

The four monsters fought back as best as they could, but were still being thrown around, despite their foe missing an entire arm. Serratias, Frankenworm’s Ghoul, and Chinook lay on the ground, battered and bruised as Doctor Abomination used his remaining arm to heave Argelian up by the head. The monster began to talk very confidently to his nemesis, bragging that he may not be as smart anymore, but he didn’t need it; he could simply crush the hero into pulp. Argelian, however, chuckled, stating that he’s still as arrogant as ever.

Doctor Abomination felt a sharp pain shoot through his left leg as the cyborg’s blade pierced his flesh. Howling in pain, Argelian took advantage of the moment and unleashed a pulse of energy, freeing himself from the monster’s grip and tore his blade free from his foe. Flying over towards his allies, the alien touched down as Doctor Abomination clutched his bloody leg. The trio of monsters rose up to their feet and glanced at Argelian. He communicated to them that they had to finish him now, and they immediately understood.

Argelian’s gems began to glow and gather energy towards his chest gem. Serratias’ chest plates began to open up charge up energy. Chinook’s tentacles started spinning wildly as his body began to release heat. Frankenworm’s Ghoul began to give off electricity around his hands. Doctor Abomination cried out in rage as Argelian unleashed the Hoseki Beam, Serratias the Cambrian Explosion, Chinook his solar winds, and Ghoul’s electrical strike. A massive explosion rocked the area, yet the smoke was cleared from the sheer winds being produced, revealing Doctor Abomination being shredded by the quadruple attack.

The four ceased their attack, as the smoke and dust cloud was finally allowed to form around the terrible mutant. Feeling a sense of accomplishment, the monsters displayed happy emotions as best as they can, while Martin and Kate, watching in shock, briefed a collected sigh of relief with Argelian. Their happiness was short lived, however, as the sound of demented laughter rang through the area. The cloud cleared, and standing there, bloodied, shredded, but still alive, was Doctor Abomination. Argelian voiced his surprise, refusing to believe he could survive such an assault. The mutant assured him, however, that he was indeed still alive, and what better way than to demonstrate he was?

The good doctor unleashed hell upon the four heroes, bombarding them with any organic missiles that could still be launched, all the while sweeping his Surgeon’s beam across the arena. As the clouds of smoke and carnage disappeared, the results were gruesome. The three monsters were horribly wounded, and Argelian wasn’t in any better of shape. Bleeding and dented, he remained motionless as Doctor Abomination stomped his way over to him. The mutant planted his left foot down onto his nemesis and leaned onto it with his remaining arm, grinning in glee.

Doctor Abomination began to lecture to the cyborg, telling him that he won’t have to suffer like his best friend; no, he won’t be an experiment. He will die a slow, painful death instead. As he brought up his twisted arm, a barrage of missiles crashed into his face. Barely phased, the monster gazed up to see the Firebird and Roc, desperately trying to save their friend. The mutant grinned, telling Argelian that at least he wouldn’t die in a fiery holocaust like his two little human friends. Doctor Abomination opened his mouth, energy flickering from his throat.

Suddenly, blood shot out from his mouth. Gasping in horror, the behemoth looked down, and his eyes widened within his goggles. Sticking straight into his heart was Argelian’s Chimerium blade. Blood poured down the weapon as it retracted back within the mechanical arm, blood erupting further from the mutant’s mouth. Stumbling backwards, Doctor Abomination’s vision was becoming blurred. The cyborg rose up and stared at his foe.

“I told you I would have my revenge. Justice has been served.”

Doctor Abomination’s face had a grin on it yet again, speaking one last sentence before falling over, dead.

“The experiment... Is... Over...”

Trivia:
-Doctor Abomination’s tail does not have eyes; there are red marks that mimic the appearance of glaring, blood-red eyes instead. Interestingly enough, these marks can change to further mimic difference emotions eyes can show.
-Doctor Abomination’s concept sketches have many Team Fortress 2 references to them, as well as Portal ones. Don’t be surprised if you saw a Portal reference within the biography.
